6th Annual Canines Against Cancer Fundraiser 2025

Each Moment We're Alive is happy to present our 6th ANNUAL #CaninesAgainstCancer Support Walk. This year's walk will be in person. BUT for those out of town, you can walk where you want. All money raised supports Each Moment We're Alive (EMWA). EMWA is a 501(c) 3 non-profit that PROVIDES TOOLS AND SUPPORT FOR CANCER SURVIVORS DURING & AFTER TREATMENTS.

Join us rain or shine at the Morgan Road Pavilion on Friday, August 22. Bring the whole family and join us for a fun-filled event! Take a stroll with loved ones on the trail, indulge in family fun activities, savor delicious eats and much MORE! Take lots of photos and videos of all the smiles and sniffs along the way and share them with us on social media using #CaninesAgainstCancer. Get ready to rock the 2025 event with our commemorative T-shirts and merchandise available for purchase the day of the walk.

Register for the Canines Against Cancer Walk with a $15 donation (Under 12 $8) and receive a voucher for a hamburger or hot dog at the event—our thank-you for supporting cancer survivors and joining the fun!

Canines Fur Cancer - FAQs

What is Each Moment We are Alive? Each Moment We Are Alive (EMWA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides tools and support for cancer survivors during and after treatments.

What is Canines Fur Cancer? Canines Fur Cancer is a family fun filled day that raises awareness and funds for cancer support programs for EMWA. The day kicks off with a ¾ mile walk around the beautiful Irish Cultural Center. Food, beverages, photos, music and rock finding games are all part of the day's activities.

Can I participate even if I don’t have a dog? Of course!  Canines Fur Cancer welcomes all walkers, with or without a canine companion.

I don’t live in Western MA. Can I still participate? Yes!! This years walk will be in person. BUT for those out of town, you can walk where you want.

Do I have to be a cancer survivor to participate? No, you don’t have to be a cancer survivor to participate in the Canines Fur Cancer walk.

Do I have to fundraise? No, you are not obligated to fundraise for Canines Fur Cancer.  Our fundraisers are made up of canines who have been supporting our survivors.  You can opt to register yourself or a favorite pet and fundraise through your contacts using social media channels. Our top fundraisers receive a gift basket the day of the walk.

Are donations tax deductible? Ever Moment We Are Alive is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and therefore your donations are tax deductible.
