Canines Fur Cancer is a family fun filled day that raises awareness and funds for women cancer support programs for EMWA. The day kicks off with a ¾ mile walk around the beautiful Irish Cultural Center. Vendors, food, beverages,photos, music and a rock finding games are all part of the day's activities.What is Canines Fur Cancer?

Due to the current covid-19 pandemic, Each Moment We’re Alive decided to offer the Canines Fur Cancer fundraising dog walk as a hybrid walk.To participate in the fundraiser, all you need to do is register online at . On June 27, Either join in person at the Pavilion behind the Irish Cultural Center, 429 Morgan Road, West Springfield at 11:00 am or Walk anywhere between 11:00-3:00 pm– just because we can’t all physically walk together that doesn’t mean that we can’t come together for a common cause.How does a hybrid dog walk work? www.caninesfurcancer.org

Of course!  Canines Fur Cancer welcomes all walkers, with or without a canine companion.Can I participate even if I don’t have a dog?

The world is your [dog’s] oyster! While maintaining a safe distance from others, you can join us at the Irish Cultural Center or choose your own path on Sunday, June 27.   Take lots of photos and videos of all the smiles and sniffs along the way, and share them with us on social media using #CaninesFurCancer.How To Participate:

Yes!!  That is the beauty of the virtual Canines Fur cancer dog walk – you can participate in the walk no matter where you live!  No matter where you are - Massachusetts, New York or California – you can sign up online at and walk your dog to help fund programs for cancer survivors!I don’t live in Western MA. No, you don’t have to be a cancer survivor to participate in the Canines Fur Cancer walk.Do I have to be a cancer survivor to participate?

No, you are not obligated to fundraise for Canines Fur Cancer.  Our fundraisers are made up of canines who have been supporting our survivors.  You can opt to register yourself or a favorite pet and fundraise through your contacts using social media channels. Our top fundraisers receive a gift basket the day of the walk.Do I have to fundraise?

Every Moment We Are Alive is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and therefore your donations are tax deductible.Are donations tax deductible?
